4. Approval of the December 3, 2025 Civil Service Commission Meeting Minutes
5.a. ORDER 2026-001 - An Order setting the date to conduct a Police Corporal Promotional Exam in accordance with Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code and the Local Civil Service Rules authorizing an examination, setting a date, time, and place for such an examination, and directing the Civil Service Director to cause the posting and publication of all applicable notices.
5.b. ORDER 2026-002- An Order setting the date to conduct a Police Sergeant Promotional Exam in accordance with Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code and the Local Civil Service Rules authorizing an examination, setting a date, time, and place for such an examination, and directing the Civil Service Director to cause the posting and publication of all applicable notices.
5.c. ORDER 2026-003 - An Order to conduct a Police Senior Officer Promotional Exam in accordance with Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code and the Local Civil Service Rules authorizing an examination, setting a date, time, and place for such an examination, and directing the Civil Service Director to cause the posting and publication of all applicable notices.
5.d. ORDER 2026-004- Order to Approve the Entry Level Police Eligibility List — Approve the list of eligible police candidates who sat for the Entry Level Police Examination on January 7, 2026, as ordered by the Commission on December 3, 2025, by Order 2025-035.
5.e. ORDER 2026-005- Certify and Approve the Police Lieutenant Promotion Eligibility Active List. In accordance with Chapter 143 of the Local Government Code, the Director must certify these names on an eligibility active list before the Police Chief and the City Manager can make any appointments.
5.f. ORDER 2026-006- Certify and Approve the Police Senior Officer Promotion Eligibility Active List. In accordance with Chapter 143 of the Local Government Code, the Director must certify these names on an eligibility active list before the Police Chief and the City Manager can make any appointments.
