5.a. ORDER #2025-012 - An order in accordance with Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code and the Local Civil Service Rules authorizing an examination for the position of Entry Level Firefighter Exam with the Del Rio Fire Department, setting a date, time and place for such an examination, and directing the Civil Service Director cause the posting and publication of all applicable notices.

5.b. ORDER #2025-013 - An order to certify and approve the Fire Department Assistant Chief Eligibility Active List in accordance with Chapter 143 of the Local Government Code and the Local Civil Service Rules authorizing the Director to certify the names on an eligibility list before the Fire Chief and City Manager can make any appointments.

5.c. ORDER #2024-014 - An Order to conduct a Police Sergeant Promotional Exam in accordance with Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code and the Local Civil Service Rules authorizing an examination, setting a date, time and place for such an examination, and directing the Civil Service Director to cause the posting and publication of all applicable notices.

ORDER #2024-015- An Order to conduct a Police Lieutenant Promotional Exam in accordance with Chapter 143 of the Texas Local Government Code and the Local Civil Service Rules authorizing an examination, setting a date, time and place for such an examination, and directing the Civil Service Director to cause the posting and publication of all applicable notices.

ORDER#2025-018 - An Order to Grant Authorization for the Lateral Hiring of Christian Alan Botello, a Current Law Enforcement Officer, in Accordance with the Modified Lateral Hiring Process Established by the Current Collective Bargaining Agreement between the City of Del Rio Police Officers Association and the City of Del Rio

6.a. The City of Del Rio respectfully submits this Motion for Reconsideration of the Commission’s decision on March 10, 2025, to award back pay to Senior Officer Jose Rueda. After thorough legal research and analysis, the City of Del Rio contends that this decision is contrary to the law and does not align with established legal precedent.
